This 8th edition, our theme is IZON OTU. And the intent behind the theme is to creatively define the essence of what it means being Ijaw.
“The notion of being Ijo has not been constant, and it’s a growing concept.”
So, with the use of poetry, music, short stories, paintings, play & dance, the ultimate goal of IZON OTU is to honour and promote our people, culture and where we are from. For the monumental purpose of creatively telling the present generation and the ones to come of who we are, who we have been and who we can be.
